A Development Framework for Councillors in Wales 2021.pdf – Apr-2021

This framework outlines the skills and knowledge widely accepted to be required by local authority councillors in Wales. It is intended to provide guidance for councillors about their roles, and help them identify their priorities for continuing personal and professional development. It is not intended to be exhaustive or prescriptive, but to help new and existing councillors identify the aspects of their role where support or training might be helpful.
